Eileen Hendren grew up in the Bay Area and is a child of the of the 50's. An avid reader of early "Mad" magazine she started to see a pattern of humor and art emerge and has aimed for making people laugh ever since. Eileen spent 21 years as an advertising and marketing director for a large corporation and when it came time to retire she was more than eager to try new concepts in clay rather than on paper.
Her work can be found in 10 galleries across the nation, and she herself is considered an "art addict". She shares her tiny bungalow in Davis with 4 cats and 2 dogs and an art collection that spans over 30 years. "It is crowded, but it is never dull".
